ARTS IN OUR DAILY LIVES

As a continuation of the "Arts in Our Daily Lives" grant the Oshkosh Area Commuity Foundation now receives a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board to be used in funding for the Oshkosh area. The purpose of this Wisconsin Regranting Program is to give the state additional opportunity to more directly support the arts at the local level. Local regranting enables state and federal funds to come to the local levels where the arts are made.

The goal of the "Arts In Our Daily Lives" Grants Program is to initiate new collaborations and settings for arts events, programs, and/or experiences. It is the belief of this program that the arts need to be "found" and/or experienced in settings other than the traditional concert hall, gallery or theatre. It is believed that new relationships between arts groups, artists and their communities will yield new program ideas and goals, ultimately benefiting a larger part of the population.
